The Importance of Health Testing
A healthy bernedoodle puppy doesn't happen by accident. It starts with healthy parents.
To do our best to breed and raise healthy puppies, we start by health checking our parents to be sure we are working to breed away from potential health issues.
Our moms and dads complete the following tests:

Genetic Testing

Orthopedic Testing (Hip, Elbows, and Patellas*)

Thyroid for our Bernese Mountain Dogs
Testing helps us to look under the hood and make sure we are passing on the best health we can to all puppies raised in our program.
Raising our Puppies Intentionally
When it comes to raising bernedoodle puppies, we know that Nature AND Nature are critical.
Puppies will inherit parts of their personality from mom and dad. The environment and the stressors they are exposed to will also shape their little temperaments.
We strive to make sure we select for the best natured puppies while also nurturing them to be happy go lucky little things. This starts, again by only breeding parents that have temperaments that are easy going and well mannered.
After puppies are born, we start them on their puppy curriculum at three days old to help them be ready to be part of your family. Puppies raised this way, adapt better to their new families and are ready to hit the ground running at home.

We send you home with training from My Loyal Hound to help you start things off on the right foot and are here to help answer questions and support you through the ups and downs of a new puppy.
As your pup ages, we love getting updates and are here to celebrate milestones and answer questions if things come up. We are excited to be part of your bernedoodle puppy journey and can't wait to get your puppy application!
